During 2022 Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust has bought another 4-4-2 steam locomotive Billie, which was built by Barnes c1922 for the Dreamland Miniature Railway in Margate. It arrived back at the Rhyl Miniature Railway MR on 28^th June and has now been restored to steam again alongside its four sisters all built in Rhyl.

Billie worked on the Dreamland Miniature Railway up to the time of its purchase by Les Hughes in 1980. The boiler which it carries now was fitted in 1970. It operated on the Dudley Zoo Railway in 1982 – 1983. The boiler was re-tubed in 1986 and in 1993 it was sold to a private collector in Kent. it was purchased by Austin Moss of the Windmill Farm Railway in 2018, and since then good progress has been made towards returning it to working order. This work was completed at Rhyl Miniature Railway during August 2023.
